A couple of Halloween projects

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  This week I have two projects over at the #AlteredPages blog and I am sharing both of them here.

First up is a 5x7 canvas board.  This Halloween project could be hung on the wall or stood up on a shelf.  It's a fun little project for decorating around the house.

Check out How to Create a Halloween Canvas II by Robin Horasanian on Snapguide.

Next is a Fairy Mask that could be worn to a Halloween party, Masquerade ball or can sit on a shelf as a holiday decoration.

All three of my projects today use Art Anthology Dimensional Paint.  On this card I painted a piece of white card stock and then stamped the www.AlteredPages.com gargoyle three times to create a 3D goblin.  The body and head were cut out separately and attached with foam squares so he looks like he is leaning forward off the page.  The graphic image is from the Halloween Postcards collage sheet.

For more details on the specific items used in these projects, please visit the Altered Pages Artsociates blog.  I hope you enjoyed these projects and will come back again soon.  Until then...Happy Crafting!

Creating for "My Craft Room"

Autumn greetings!

My home studio time has really suffered the last couple of months.  We were a victim of the flooding that swept through Southeast Michigan this summer and although we were very blessed that the water was rain water and not sewage, it still caused a little bit of havoc around here.  We tore apart the whole basement to remove the carpeting and I have been busy re-stamping my entire index of rubber stamps.  It's truly a labor of love but it is very time consuming.  Luckily, I have been able to do some crafting at work.  One of the perks of working in a scrapbook store is that I can make store samples!

If you have a chance, check out My Craft Room on the web or Facebook!  If you're local, come on it and see what we have for you.  Half of the store is rubber stamps/scrapbooking and the other half is specialty yarn.  I don't knit or crochet, but seeing all these beautiful soft yarns could change my mind!  Here are the cards I've made since August.  Some of these are really basic, but it is so much fun coming home from work with my fingers covered with ink.
